So we are vacillating between May, early March and November for a Disney trip.

I am told by some friends that early March is good weather and right before Spring Breakers, but I've been told by some co-workers that early March is terrible because schools let out for the break during different weeks all over the country and all of March and April are terrible. Such a conflict. haha

I was considering June. Not a fan of the heat, but I think I read that crowds in June are not what they used to be and have been very manageable.

November is good weather, so that is the reason I like that.

May, also good weather, but hotter?

Is there a reason I should prefer one over the other? We are so flexible on when we can go.

Another vote for early May. You'll be able to enjoy Flower & Garden at Epcot, and the weather won't be miserable yet. Crowds should be very manageable, although crowds in general are difficult to predict anymore.

November is nice, but can be very, very crowded, with the possible exception of the middle of the month.

The first week of March should be okay, as most universities don't start their breaks until the second week. The weather then could be on the cool side, or hot, but generally in between.

Early May is already hot; it was in the mid-90s the entire week we went at that time. Crowds were moderate, but that intense Florida sun was too much for me.

November is our favorite month to go for weather. Normally warm and sunny during the day, and the evenings are pleasant as well.

While true in a sense, the number of schools that do let out in early March is a vastly small fraction compared to later in March and into the first half of April.

We've gone in early May for the last couple of years. The crowds are moderate. There is a cheer competition around this time though so you should expect to see a lot of cheer groups.

It's hot but we take mid day breaks to get out of the sun. I love going back in the evenings because the sun is fading and it's so much more comfortable.

We did May 14-18th and crowds were fantastic. Temps were warm, felt like 96 every day, but no rain at all which was great.

We have gone the first week of March for the past two years, and it wasn't bad at all. We had no problem doing everything we wanted in Epcot and Magic Kingdom (we have not visited the other two parks on our spring break trips yet). As a bonus, the weather is pretty nice, too.

We have never been in May, and I don't see that happening because of my disdain for heat and humidity. We have been in the last few days of November, and into December, and it was MAYBE a little worse than the first week of March, but it was also not bad at all.

We have never waited more than 15 minutes for a ride, and the crowds are rarely too annoying to move through. We get FP+ for 7DMT, Peter Pan, and Enchanted Tales at MK; at Epcot, FP+ for Test Track, Character Spot, and Mission Space. The rest we either rope drop, queue when the line's short, or get a 4th+ FP+.

Easter is early-ish this year - which helps - so we are planning mid April - not that there are any slow times anymore. I don't like it cold, but the the weather heats up fast. Can be hot, even in April, but May on, the heat and humidity really ratchet up. I'm a deep south girl and have lived it.

I've been in March a couple of times now and I really enjoyed it both times! Weather is pretty warm without being HOT and the crowds are low so long as you're there within the first couple weeks of the month.

If you would like to see Christmas decor, mid Nov. before Thanksgiving, or week after Thanksgiving will be good for somewhat lower crowds and cooler weather ( although may not be swimming weather if you are interested in that). MK is decorated and castle lit up, as well as Gingerbread House at GF is complete around mid Nov. and all is done after Tday. It is our favorite time to be there!

I find I can tolerate higher crowds when the temperatures are lower. I have been the first week of March and first/second weeks of May. I enjoyed March more, but the crowds both periods seemed fairly close. I usually go in early December, so I haven’t been in November to comment on that time of year.

Definitely late November (after thanksgiving). When you’re talking about March, are you speaking of this March? I hope not! Though I guess some people aren’t neurotic planners like me...but November for sure has the best weather (perfect usually) and crowds are no bigger then any other time.

For March, only the first week will miss the spring break crowds. The second week is Texas' spring break, with most public schools in the state out that week, so it's always one of the busier weeks of the break. If you do go the first week, it's usually low crowds, moderate temperatures, and little rain.

We are going mid-May after my niece finishes the semester at the college where she works. She starts work again in July so we’re going while she’s off, but before most kids get out for summer vacation.

So far, it’s looking good. We did well on airfare (SW EWR/MCO) and hotel (the Swan). Most of my group have APs and I bought my ticket before the price hike.

The Flower & Garden Festival sounds right up my alley, and with a little planning, I’ll get to see the Guess Who in concert. Also, the Le Vie en Rose will be calling my name. :)

We went from Feb 29-March 4 in 2016, and the weather was great. Not hot and not humid. It did rain once, but that was at 2am!

Keep a watch on when Mardi Gras falls. If it falls that week, the crowd levels can be higher.

I would choose anything other than November. I mean November has the Christmas party and decorations, but, it's horrible for planning if you want to attend MK on a non-party day. They only have 3 days a week without parties, so it's very limited.

Funny those are the three times you are considering...

Our first family trip was mid-May 2014. It was pretty hot for most of the week, and rained a couple of days, but otherwise nice. Very manageable crowds. Got in lots of pool time.

Our second family trip was mid-November 2016. The weather was glorious. Never too hot, no rain at all, perfect for touring the parks. Didn't get in much pool time because it wasn't that hot, and with the earlier sunset, there just wasn't as much time. The crowds were very manageable at that time as well (the week before Thanksgiving week).

This year, we're doing early-mid March (5th-18th). We are hoping to beat most of the spring break crowds during the first week, and take the second week to enjoy more pool time and relax. The weather forecast is all over the place, so we'll see how it ends up. But it's looking like anywhere from low 70s to high 80s. Also, Daylight Saving Time starts in the middle of our trip so that will affect sunrise/set times. It will be interesting.

Crowd levels seem so unpredictable now, I don't know if you can safely base your decision on anyone's past experiences. But given all factors (and your flexibility) I would personally choose November. The weather was so great, Christmas decorations were up (and MVMCP if you're interested in that). But I don't really think you can go "wrong" with any of your three choices.

I do agree, for Magic Kingdom specifically, this can be a bit difficult. We wanted to see Magic Kingdom fireworks, and didn't have many opportunities (and they were VERY busy because of that). But we found the crowds to be great on the party days at MK. We would go for rope drop and stay through late afternoon - we got so much done. By the time the party crowds started coming in, we were ready to leave anyway.
