Ugh, Me Again, I know! :)

I was there the first full week of March in 2017 and the weather and crowds were perfect IMO. The first few days were chilly enough to take a sweatshirt for after the sun went down, but otherwise I had shorts on the entire week. I would go during that week again in a heartbeat.

Of those, we prefer March by a landslide. The weather is really nice in both March and November, but in May in Florida, it's not atypical to see mid-high 90's (It's been in the mid-80's here for the past 3 weeks -in February, lol). In terms of crowds, Disney is always busy. You just try to miss the absolute busiest times if you can. Both March and May are good for this, November not so much. The first week of November isn't bad, but once Thanksgiving rolls around, forget it. The last week of November has been good in the past, but you'll find this isn't the case anymore. One other nice thing about March is the Flower & Garden Festival -we'll be there next week!

I agree with @DisneyChris2016. Party days are the lowest crowds you’ll see nowadays at MK. We RD MK on party days, go until about 4 when party crowds start, then hop to Epcot or AK. To see FW, we'll spend the day at another park and hop over to MK on a non party night, around dinner time, to see the night time stuff. If you have PH this time of year is great, if not, it would make touring MK more difficult.

I would choose anything other than November. I mean November has the Christmas party and decorations, but, it's horrible for planning if you want to attend MK on a non-party day. They only have 3 days a week without parties, so it's very limited.
And I love it because it's one time of the year it's easier to find a lower crowd day in the MK.

True. If I had a bigger budget or more time, then yes, I would enjoy it I suppose because I could do the best of both. But if you only have one day and really want to see the regular evening entertainment...

early March is OK (especially if Easter is late), early May is good but watch out for the senior trip and field trip crowd, especially Epcot.

I've been in March a couple of times now and I really enjoyed it both times! Weather is pretty warm without being HOT and the crowds are low so long as you're there within the first couple weeks of the month.

When we went in March, it was COLD! And it got a bit rainy, and that was horrible. Capri pants were not warm enough, and I only had one sweatshirt with me, so I bought one down there. It's a nice one, but pricey. I'll never trust March ever again.

Yes, for any season other then summer, you have to pack for all weather possibilities. It was sweltering on certain days this past January, and years ago we were there in April and it was surprisingly chilly. You just never know.

I think if I only had one day I'd be even more motivated to make sure I was there on a day with less traffic. I would likely do the MK on a party day and settle for watching HEA from outside the park on another night. Or MVMCP fireworks from outside the park. From what I hear about HEA crowds, I really don't think I'd want to end my day like that anyway, unless I could do it from a controlled environment like the dessert party.

I have been in March a few times and don’t enjoy the that much. Mainly because the weather is so unpredictable. I live where it is cold and snowy. I want it to at least be warm when I’m at Disney. I have done May a bunch of times and really enjoy that. Yes it is hot but not as hot as June and the flower and garden festival is happening. November is also great but I find it more crowded than the other times of year we have been.

My 1st time there back in 97 was on May 5th.. And the weather was superb.....For some reason though, I do remember a lot of bugs....:confused3

We've also gone early June, which was so so, mid August, and Jersey week, about 5 times.....The latter I've found to be the best...
Between the Great weather, the changing of the different seasons(Halloween-Xmas), to the F&W festival.. :thumbsup2

I'm sure May is still awesome, and I'm sure March is pretty good as well. I'm sure whichever you choose would be fine.

So we are vacillating between May, early March and November for a Disney trip.

I am told by some friends that early March is good weather and right before Spring Breakers, but I've been told by some co-workers that early March is terrible because schools let out for the break during different weeks all over the country and all of March and April are terrible. Such a conflict. haha

I was considering June. Not a fan of the heat, but I think I read that crowds in June are not what they used to be and have been very manageable.

November is good weather, so that is the reason I like that.

May, also good weather, but hotter?

Is there a reason I should prefer one over the other? We are so flexible on when we can go.

Early March can be cold, May can be hot. November is just right and you get to see the Christmas decorations.

November can be busy, but its all busy now. Just avoid the holidays and Jersey week if you can.

I do agree, for Magic Kingdom specifically, this can be a bit difficult. We wanted to see Magic Kingdom fireworks, and didn't have many opportunities (and they were VERY busy because of that). But we found the crowds to be great on the party days at MK. We would go for rope drop and stay through late afternoon - we got so much done. By the time the party crowds started coming in, we were ready to leave anyway.

This was definitely not the case this past December. Crowds were insane at MK on party days and the parties were even worse. We were very surprised.
