Ugh. Just need December 5

Before you all tell me the usual, just let me saying I'm venting.

I know the first week of December is busy and popular and that people book it right away because it's low points, Christmas decor, etc.

Heck, I've been one of those people! BUT, recently we haven't been because I now have jr. high students and it's just been harder to justify taking them out.

BUT...yes, another one...DS is on the cusp of earning Eagle Scout rank at the age of 13. His birthday is Sat. Dec 5. DH and I are taking them family to WDW for the weekend to celebrate his achievement.

I have a reservation, but really would like to get into BCV because this kid is a water freak.

I know, I know...all the stuff I said up above.

But the killer is, is that only Sat. Dec 5 is not available. Argh! One day.

And that surprises me given that weekend points are more. At least it surprises me a little.

So take pity on me....well at least throw some pixie dust my way so that my waitlist for that day can come through!

I hear you. Sending all the pixie dust I have. The kid deserves to spend his birthday trip at the place he loves the most.

Hope the WL comes through before you do something crazy due to the stress, LOL.

Congrats on the Eagle Scout. I have one and I am hoping my second son will finish! He needs to finish his project between now and March...

Side note - there was a boy in a neighboring town that died a week before his Eagle project was going to start, he had some kind of heart condition. All the boys in his Troop rallied the Troops from surrounding towns and they all finished his project for him.

I don't think it's the annual meeting. I've attended a couple and there were not that many people there to make a difference. I think weekends in December are popular because people come in for a long weekend to see Christmas decorations, shows, etc. I'll be there Dec 5 to 11 (BWV). I don't know if I'll go to the annual meeting, it's a take it or leave it for me. If it is held at BW I may go, if elsewhere no.

Your waitlisted right??? I had my 2 waitlist requests come through very quickly for December....in the end we were waiting for one lonely little Sunday, Dec. 7th to come through and finally it did!!! I wish you luck with your dates!!!
