The first week in October, I woke up w/ a fever, sore throat, flu like symptoms. Couldn't get an appointment on base, went in and had a strep test. It came back negative. Got better from that, two weeks later, same thing, can't get seen on base. I get sent to a clinic off base. I tell doc my symptoms, he does a strep test and a flue swab. Both negative. He sends me home with a decongestant.(mucinex)
Today, same symptoms. My sinuses ate hurting. My throat is on fire and the drainage is awful. This time, I got an appt for tomorrow.
The bad thing is, I work childcare. These kids are little snot buckets. I'm constantly wiping noses and washing my hands. This is just a vent. I'm seeing a doctor tomorrow and I'm just treating the symptoms for today.
