Okay so there is this movie called "Kids in America". It is based on real events. The movie is about a bunch of kids who go against their teachers and principles because the students are being punished for things they shouldn't be punished for. It was a pretty good movie.
During the end credits they showed interviews with 3 girls who's experiences were put into the movie. The one girl wrote a story about a girl who fell asleep in class and dreamed she killed her teacher. I don't remember if she was suspended or expelled. It became a big thing (as I believe it should be). Reporters came to her house and everything. (If you want more info on the other girls you can PM me, or rent the movie

)
I don't think you should be punished for something you write about. I understand people being concerned about the stories, but to expel someone is ridiculous.
As far as being concerned goes, heres another story from a TV show:
On the show Beverly Hills 90210, one of the main characters Brendon writes articles for the school newspaper. He interviews a kid at the school who has amazing grades, and participates in many school activities. Brendon and the kid he is interviewing become friends and the guy gives him a script to read tha he wrote. The script is a detailed story about a kid who is going to kill his father. It turns out, the kid he was interviewing was planning on doing just that.
I realize this is just a TV show, but still. Like I said, I understand concern but suspension/ expulsion for writing a paper is absurd.
