Bravo to Shoebuy.com for calling us.
No.............we did not just purchase 250 bucks worth of shoes this morning!
They suspected fraudulent activity because the bad guy had used multiple cards in a short period of time.
I suspect someone stole our data during a recent trip to WDW but that it was our off site activities that gave the bad guy the opportunity. We stayed off site and used the CC for food off site. We used gift cards for meals inside WDW.
The activity started about 30 days after we left and they listed a bogus FL (Kissimmee) area code and were going to have the goods delivered to a Kissimmee address.
The card has been shut down and we are not liable, but it is just a complete waste of out time!
Even if they had not called us, we would have noticed the activity as my DH check the CC website just about every day.
So..............Please be alert and check your own card activity from time to time.
