UGH! Anyone else get repeated calls from 866-683-7590

Well, I put DFiance's phone on silent for that phone #, BUT, then the missed call alert beeps every 5 minutes when they call... ugh! It's been awhile now with no relief.

You should be able to change the alert sound to silent also. I know that on my phone I can set each alert to a different sound or silent. Mine is silent because I can't stand the sound, but I know to take a look at it every now and then to see if I did miss anything important.

As far as the "georgia call" or "california call", My inlaws still use calling cards for long distance and that is what appears on the caller ID.

I have a service from Verizon, if there is no caller ID the call does not get through. They have to record their name and then it plays it for us and we get to decide to accept it or not

Has cut way down on bad phone calls

Hello to everyone out there. I have been getting calls from 1-866-683-7590 and trying as hard as everyone else to find out who is trying to call me. I actually have figured it today. 1-866-683-7590 is located out of Columbus Ohio. It is for the Bryman Technical Institue ( for medical careers). I have found they have several branches and do telemarketing to try and promote their college. If you have ever put in a request for ANY kind of school information... you name could have very well gone to this or any number of schools. I had so far today 5 calls and finally on the 6th call someone answered and it was from the Bryman Insitute. It is computer generated so it is not acutally a person everytime but I managed to speak to a real person. So don't be alarmed. It is not a scam. If you do get the recording to leave your name and number to be removed from the list... you will be removed. Good luck to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG! I work overnights and we have had non stop calls from this number #1-866-683-7590, no one answers, there is nothing there but dead air. This has been going on for three days now, I'm talking at times every 10-15 minutes!

So I called it back and got a voice mail "if you want to be removed, leave your name and number, etc".... so I am guilable and leave this info, then search online only to find out that it seems to be a scam to phish for your info... UGH! Well even though I gave it to them, they KEEP calling. And since it's my cell I can't block the #. I called Verizon and my only option in to change our cell #.

Anyone else getting these calls or got them in the past, did it or does it ever stop?

We can't turn the ringer off since DFiance' needs the phone for work emergencies.

Yes, I have been getting these calls on my TRACPHONE from this number - at first I never answered because I didn't know the number and didn't want to use my minutes - then it started bugging me because they call all the time, so I started picking it up to get rid of them and it's ALWAYS DEAD AIR!!!

So frustrating but I'm happy (not happy, but glad to know) that's it's just not me getting these calls.

I just turn my phone off during the day while at work - I don't think I've had a call from that number in over a week - hopefully it's stopped now but it went on for months.

I am new to this site but just did an Internet search on this phone number because I keep getting calls as well. Since it seems pretty futile, I'm taking the mean and nasty route. I'm calling THEM over and over again. I'm not saying anything through the recording and just letting them pay for my phone calls over and over and over and over....

1-866-683-7590 now has a name to it folks!!!! It's called FMU Online. How did I find out? They actually said something today, after calling 7 times already, and that was just today.

Here is their number so everyone who is getting these calls and call them back and start harassing them!!!

You may want to take a couple minutes to look at the FCC site. http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/truthaboutcellphones.html There are legal actions you can take to make it stop. Might take a while, but if enough people do it, it will help stop these people!

We have this problem too, we get the nobody there and no message thing like 5 times a day, plus theres the ones that talk,

Ive actually started having fun, I sound like im 8 so one time they asked is my mommy or dad home I said they cant come to the phone "why" THERE GOING POO.
I also speak chinese, or at least its sounds like chinese, and other things
