Uggs size question....child sized for adult

I have been trying to use the search function to find the thread that has been talking about deals on Uggs and sizing and the search function is not cooperating!

I want to order a pair tonight for Christmas from DH to myself I am a size 6 or 6.5 in womens and I "think" from remembering what people were saying on the last thread that I can order a youth size 4? Is that right? I'm so confused with the ugg sizing and any money I save buying a youth size will just be lost if I have to ship it back if it doesn't fit.

So what size should I order? Thanks for any help!

my daughter wears a kids 4 which is the same as an adult 6. Not sure if the kids uggs run big or not (the adult ones tend to).

It would probably be easiest to try on an Ugg shoe at a store first. I am about a size 6 as well, and I have a size 3 pair of kid's tall uggs that are a great fit. A 4 would probably fit well, if that's any help.

I'm a 7.5 womens, and right this very minte I have on a sz 6 kids Uggs and they are a little big. I loooooooove 'em and wouldn't trade them for anything!

thanks for all your replies! I just ordered a pair of the youth size 4. I'm a 6 1/2 usually, so I figured I'd go with the four. Zappos has free shipping both ways so if they don't fit I'll just send them back. I got them for $97 shipped so that will be one of my Christmas gifts from DH! I got dd a pair last week at Journez in the mall for a few dollars more than that, so I'm a happy camper!

Sorry you can't. I believe the biggest size in kids is a size 6 which would be a womans 7, maybe possibly 8.

I wear a size 7 and actually bought a kids size 6. The 5 felt a little snug and I like my boots a little roomy.

I wear a size 8 normally. In Uggs Woman sz I wear a SZ 7 (they run big). In boys SZ I wear a size 5. You go 2 sizes down. The children sizes also run big.

93.00 - i wear ladies size 6 1/6 or 7 so i ordered the Youth size 5!

I ordered the youth uggs yesterday. They are free shipping but on their website the free next day air shipping was for clothing only. I received an email from zappos yesterday ...they shipped my UGGS next day air- free- just because they wanted to say thanks. LOL

Just got my black Uggs next day unbelievable - i ordered the 5 kids (i'm a 6 1/2 or 7 and they fit perfect) the 93.00 ones the short original ones i think but my question is i ordred them in black and the rope design part that goes around the ankle in the front, one foot is totally black and the other i see white through the rope - thinking if i spent that $ i should return them for another pair?

how do yours look?

Yes, a 13 youth is a child's size. 12, 12 1/2, 13, 13 1/2, 1, 1 1/2, 2 etc.

I think you really should try these on in the stores so you have a better idea on size. DD wears a 7 in Womans, I am able to buy her a 5 in youth. You may be able to get away with a Youth 6, they do seem to run larger. Some web sites are actually suggesting you order a size down in this style.
