Ugg sizing for slippers/boots

Bought my daughter ugg Tasman slippers and got the wrong size. ( Tried ordering a kids size to save money and salesperson convinced me that they would fit. )Of course, they don't. Now I need to replace them and the stores around me are sold out. I would like to order them from Zappos, but can only afford to order one pair. Her Ugg classic boots are size 7 and she wears size 8 1/2 nike sneakers... What size should I order???

My slippers are a size bigger than my boots. Same goes for my mom. The slippers (at least the flat bottom scruff type ones I have) ran alot narrower and smaller than the classic or ultimate boots.

My daughter wears a size smaller in the classic boot but her normal size in the Dakota slippers. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the quick responses! I just tried to order them and they are sold out! Ugg website says they will ship out Aug. 13, 2010!!!! Zappos is the fastest to ship them to your home and they are sold out too!!! DD13 is practically in tears and I feel awful. Now I will be stalking all of the websites and glued to computer like I was on the $1 trip situation.

Mom3girls try Nordstroms. It won't be really inexpensive, but your DD will be happy. When I bought our D's there they said to go down a half to full size, depending on how thick the socks she will wear with are....also they should fit tight, but no uncomfortable at first. The pile wears down and then they fit more loosely.

Check your Army/Navy store if you have one. Here it is sort of a camping store and they carry Uggs. They are usually in stock when others are out of stock, but I don't know if they ship or do returns.

We got the last pair at Journeyz in the mall!!! I happened to call there last and they had one pair left and held it for me. You are right they do fit snug around the opening but the salesgirl said as soon as you wear them a little bit they will be broken in and fit a little bit more comfortable!!!

Garnet Hill had pink Ugg slippers for around $60 yesterday - my MIL ordered a pair. The site is down for routine maintenance right now of course, but they are a really great company, and the shipping is quick, but not always cheap...hope that helps?? Good luck!

I own two pair of tasman slippers. I take a 7 in a shoe and boot and a 7 in the slipper as well. Now in kids I take a 5 slipper. The tasman will be very snug at first but they will loosen up a bit. I just bought a size 3 for my daughter, the size of her boots and she told me her slippers were too tight. I think she is so use to the loose fit of her ugg boots that the slipper seems tight to her now. I was going to exchange them for a 4 but they are sold out. So I told her to walk around with them for awhile to see if they will loosen up enough other wise they are going back. I am not paying $60.00 for slippers she will not wear. Now a friend of mine owns a different style of ugg slippers and she told me hers where very big on her and she sent them back for a size smaller. So I think the slippers run different depending on the style.
