That's awesome! Unfortunately in our over processed society a large percentage of the food we eat have hidden animal by-products in them, which is exactly where the sheep skin from ugg boots come from. Byproduct of slaughtered sheep. Uggs does not do the slaughtering, they just use the unused skins and fur. The recent article passed around face book used wiki as a large source of info, and we all know how accurate that is!

I did not post this sale to start a debate regarding whether or not people should but the product. Those who don't want to shouldn't. Yes, I understand the sheep are slaughtered. I am omnivorous, and eat meat ( and grew up on a farm with cattle), so I don't have a fundamental opposition to eating meat or using other animal products. I have read the article, written by a reputation management consultant, and it would have you believe they skin sheep alive to make these products. I think the guy wrote the story to try to get them as clients, but that is my own personal conspiracy theory.

I respect the values and positions of those who live vegan or similar lifestyles, and I certainly won't force a pair of UGGs onto their feet. But I also don't feel the same moral opposition to this product that some people do. That is my OT opinion. Glad some were able to get some savings.

It is listed as an authorized dealer on the official ugg site so they are authentic. I cant speak for the company's customer service as I have yet to receive my boots.
