I teach at a college and I have been seeing Uggs for the past month on campus.

Ugg also has other styles now besides the traditional ones that we think of as Uggs. They even have the riding boots.

I lucked out over the summer and got my daughter a tall pair with the bailey bows on sale for $135 from Zappos. I'm giving them to her for her birthday. Yeah Zappos for having that 365 day return policy in case they don't fit.

We were in Hawaii in August staying about 3 doors down from the UGGS store. The store was busy constantly with Japanese tourists stocking up at full retail. I can't tell you how many of them were wearing their UGG boots with shorts and dresses in 80 degree weather. Never know UGG's had such a following.

I was just looking at these earlier... I think they are so cute! I got my Uggs from 6pm.com for around $130 they are the chestnut bailey buttons. I'm a size 9, size 8 in Uggs but if I were anything less than a size 8 I would get the kids boots, they are cheaper as other posters have pointed out.

I just bought a pair of Uggs at Scheels Sporting Goods clearance rack at 50% off full price last week end. Even though they were in clearance area, I could not tell difference to this year's boots that were on display for full price.

Buyer beware...always buy from a authorized dealer. I bought a pair of uggs online a few years back. It was link on my comcast homepage. They ended up being fake uggs. Generally they do not go on sale in my area. Maybe 5 bucks off is about it.

In my area combat boots and riding boots are the "in" thing right now. My daughter said that UGGS are in but everyone has them now. I found some cute combat boots for 23 on amazon but riding boots are super expensive. I will have to keep looking.

If you don't have to have the Ugg specifically, the BearPaws at Kohls and the Kirkland one at Costco, are leather also and well made, the one at Costco is only $49 and looks really good. I just bought a pair for a teen we are mentoring and she loves them, starting wearing them in 70 degree weather.

I don't know if they will have it this year, but JCPenneys usually has really good sales on boots on Black Friday. Two years ago I got my teen girls those bootie boot things (short boots). Last year I got my older DD riding boots (black with tan strip at top).

I just noticed that the Macy's Black Friday ad has some riding boots on sale (page 2) for $19.99. There are others that are slightly more expensive near the end of the ad (like page 50 or so). (non-Uggs)

Nordstrom has a couple styles of UGGS on sale right now for 40% off. I got my DD11 these ones for $101.00.

If any of you are in Ventura CA the distributer sells direct to the public I got my wife a pair for $60 we then saw them at Nordstrom for $280 the exact same pair and the regular pairs go for $30
