I've just discovered the Unofficial Guide's tour plans. How many of you follow them? I was thinking of park hopping, but these plans seem like a full day in the park. Those of you who have followed them, any feedback??

Hi excitedmomma,

Thanks for reading the Unofficial Guide. I wrote the computer software the Guide uses for its tourigg plans. There should be park-hopping advice in each park's chapter on how to adapt the plans for park hopping. So, for example, at the end of the Magic Kingdom chapter, when we describe the plans step-by-step, I think we say how to adapt the plans to park-hopping.

If those instructions aren't there, let me know and I'll post them here. I know they're going to be in the 2005 edition.

Sincerely,

Len Testa

I've used them in the past and they're great, especially during the busier times

Thank you Len!

I LOVE the book. I had originally bought the one with kids and just got this one a couple of days ago and can't put it down. I'll have to check it out later. It very well may have the adaptation to park hop and I missed it, as I was reading about the plans very late last night! lol

I have used the UG touring plans in the past and found them to be very helpful!! We saved mega time standing in line over the first few years when we went without the plans. One thing I would like to mention, tell your children or travel companions that you have a plan and you will get to all of the rides eventually, but you may have to walk by an attraction and come back to it later. There was some resistance among the ranks when we had to by pass a certain ride and come back to it later. Once they understood that, we had few problems and shorter waits! The main point to making these plans work are to be there early, take a break during the hot afternoons, and return to the parks in the evenings.

I love the UG and buy one every year when we are planning our WDW trips. They are worth every penny!!!
