uestion about the new gift card discount offer

Last year, when Disney offered a free $200.00 gift card, it was one gift card per booking, not one card per room booked.

I have a GG of 11 people, occupying three rooms, but the only way I could have gotten three separate gift cards was to break up my GG and book as three individual reservatons. This would greatly lessen our chance of having adjacent rooms. I phoned and was told all of this by a few CMs at central booking.

Now, my question is...

Does the new gift card discount work the same way?

Let's take POR, for example. It is our favourite resort. If I book three rooms for a GG of 11 people at POR, will I get one gift card of $500.00 for the entire booking or three gift cards, one for each room?

I'd also like to know as well! We are booked as a GG with 10 people and 4 rooms at CBR.

I just spoke to a CM at central booking. He said that it is different this time...each room in the GG will get a separate gift card, and you don't have to jeopardize your GG status.

This is a big improvement over last year's offer, for Grand Gathering groups!

That's awesome! I know each us would use the $500 in a different way and to have to share it might cause a family freak out! )
