The "DCL" buses are owned by Mears and can be used for other things when not needed by DCL.

They were there, because DCL wants to associate with the state's best university! Go UCF Knights!!

:thumbsup2

I saw the DCL buses used for shuttles at THE PLAYERS Championship golf tournament last May here in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.

Perhaps Mears is trying to show off their buses for a bid to replace American Coach as the main transport around campus... or Disney simply chartered them to shuttle people to main campus for some reason. (Go Knights!)

Correct. I've seen DCL buses at my sons middle-school that were being used for field trips. If it's not a Thursday, Saturday or Sunday, those buses are out making money elsewhere.

The Magical Express buses are also Mears owned and may be used for other non-Disney purposes if necessary.

They were probably being rented out for a trip of some sort. Most sororities at UCF require that you take a bus to and from the event so they are not liable for accidents. Perhaps a sorority or fraternity was having a formal event at a Disney resort and they also used Disney transportation there. We used to use it all the time when I was there :goodvibes
