Uber vs Taxi

Historically there have always been yellow taxis at Disney resorts and Parks waiting for people. We have used them at all hours and usually it’s around $25.00 to go almost anywhere on property. I see people saying they are having to wait for rideshare like Uber. Are the taxis gone? Anyone used them recently?

Most recent reports for several members have been availability of Uber/Lyft has greatly improved. You can always calls Mears taxi at 407-422-2222 they should be all over the resorts.

Taxi cabs are still available, you an either request one from the Valet CMs at the hotel entrance or call 407-422-2222 to have one dispatched to you. In addition, for a more exclusive experience, there are also black sedans available through Mears which you can pre-book at your hotel concierge desk or by calling Mears.
