Uber to car rental on Katella

How easy would it be to get an Uber to take me to the Avis/Budget car rental location on Katella on a Sat mid afternoon? Flying into LAX and picking up a rental there will tack on 200$, plus parking fees at the DLH. That's after my calculations with an Uber from LAX to the hotel. We are visiting family after our 4 day stay at Disneyland, just seems like a waste of $ for a car to sit in the parking lot. We have always been able to get a great deal on Car rentals but this time it seems like the added 4 days bumped the price a little too much. Thoughts?

It won't be any problem at all to catch Uber/lyft there. You could also walk if you didn't mind the distance.

Check with AVIS I think they do pick up and drop off service. We got dropped back to Hojo after returning our car there a couple of years ago

I agree with asking about pick up/drop off. The only caveat is that they do it based on their convenience so you may be cooling your heels until someone is free to drive you.

I priced Uber from the Grand to one of the car rental places on Katella. IIRC It was about $5.25 one way + tip.

You’ll need to call and ask. Some will not.

I don't think DLH provides free parking

You'll have to pay the going rate for hotel parking. $20.00 for self park, $30.00 for valet, and you'd still have to be a registered overnight guest.
