Uber question

If we Uber from the resort to the parks, for example DHS, how do we get past the gates without paying to park? Does the driver just explain they are dropping off? Also, does anyone know the designated drop areas for each park when taking an Uber?

Uber says TTC for MK, but most people would agree that drop off/pick up at the Contemporary is more convenient.

Yes, the driver just explains that he/she is dropping you off.

If you're talking about being dropped off at the Contemporary, no it is not closer than the bus dropoff spot -- but it's a short walk and much quicker than going through TTC via monorail or ferry.

Not at Magic Kingdom itself, no. You can be dropped off at any resort, or at TTC.

I have an Uber question.

I want to take an Uber X to the Swan from the airport. I know Uber X is not allowed in the airport. Does anyone know if Uber X is allowed to pick up in front of the Hyatt, which is attached to the airport?

Depends on the timing of your visit. After July 1, 2017, all categories of Uber and Lyft will be allowed to pick up at the airport (currently only Uber Select can). A new law goes into effect on July 1, and it will open up the airport.

For your return trip, anyone can drop off at the airport.
