Uber payment question

When using uber in Orlando, how do people pay?

The only card I am bringing with me is a Revolut card. Would this work with the app?

Try adding it to the Uber app and see if it works. If its accepted, then it will work. Looks like its a Mastercard so I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Did it charge any fees for having to convert the pounds?

It did, but at the journeys were all less that $10 it was minimal.

Get a Post Office credit card. Use that abroad. No fees and actual rather than tourist exchange rate. I take very little cash to States and use this, as you can use a card for virtually anything, and yes I also have it as my credit card on the Uber app.

I can second the Post Office Credit Card as that's the one I use and you get a great rate, or there is the Halifax Clarity card which I think does the same thing but my mum works for PO so that's what I got.

I hooked it up to paypal and used my bank account as opposed to the card i had with me in Orlando.
Meant it didnt dig into my spending money as well!
