Uber or Taxi Recommendation for Port Canaveral?

Hi! We will be staying one night, pre-cruise, at the Homewood Suites in Port Canaveral and would like to go to one of the restaurants on Glen Cheek Rd. for dinner in the evening. Can anyone recommend a good taxi company in Port Canaveral that could take us back and forth that evening? Or is Uber readily available in the area? Thanks!

That's funny! We have a winter home just a few blocks from those restaurants yet I had to Google the street name - Glen Cheek Rd! Around here it is simply called - The Cove Restaurants or Port Restaurants!

Your cab driver may not know the street either! Just tell him/her to take you the Port restaurants!

Uber is my choice nowadays for short trips but Happy Hour Shuttle is very good and friendly - http://happyhourshuttle.com/

You can also price 888-Transport because they offer bother metered and flat-rate rides nowadays.

Also, you can easily walk to the port while the sun is out (just under a mile) on a nice path and cab back.

Thanks openwater! "Port Restaurants", that's good to know!!! I will definitely use that term! I just sent an e-mail to Happy Hour - thank you for the recommendation. I've heard some sketchy things about 888 and some of the other taxi services. We are just hoping to find someone safe and reliable. Thank you!
