Uber or Magical Express?

I think it all depends on timing (and a bit of luck). Sometimes, the bus was already at the airport and we simply got on and went straight to the resort.
Yes! I once had a 59 minute, gate-to-resort, DME trip! Bus already full, last one on, it departed almost immediately, first stop!

If you ever feel like splurging, perhaps if it’s a special occasion trip, for $150 plus tip there’s no better start to a Disney vacation than to meet up with a friendly Disney CM at baggage claim who will drive you directly to your resort in a Minnie Van.

I think it all depends on timing (and a bit of luck). Sometimes, the bus was already at the airport and we simply got on and went straight to the resort. Other times, we've waited a bit at the airport (20-ish minutes) before the bus arrived, and made stops at multiple resorts before arriving at ours.

Between those options (Magical Express or Uber/Lyft), I'll always go with Magical Express. It's free, Disney-themed, free, (usually) convenient, free, and the competition has too much bad press for me to trust them. Oh, and it's free (you can't say that about too many things at Disney, so it's worth repeating ;)).

You nailed it - DME is free! I would rather spend the money I would use on a Lyft (I refuse to use Uber because of some of their policies) on a fun meal or souvenir than just on getting there MAYBE a little sooner.
