My sister-in-law is staying at the Dolphin in May. They do not offer Magical Express to the Swan or Dolphin. Has anyone tried Uber or Lyft from the airport? What is the approximate cost?

Welcome to the DIS.

You can get fare estimates as described above, or by going to rideguru.com. The fare will depend on the size of their party and the amount of luggage they have, so no one can really give you an accurate price without a LOT more insight into their situation.

In answer to your "Has anyone ever..." question -- yes, thousands of people do it every day.

You can also use Google Maps. Put in your destination, starting point and click for directions. One of the options is ride share.

I have done it many times, are we not allowed to post our prior fares here - I notice no one has. As stated a lot depends on time of day, demand of drivers, number of passengers/luggage etc. but I'd be happy to share the range of my prior Uber trips to/from Swan/Dolphin from MCO. Unless it's not allowed!

There's no rule against it, but there are so many available ways of getting the information that it's probably just easier for posters to go input their info and get an approximate cost.

In addition, posting of historical fares can result in well-meaning information that is REALLY inaccurate today. Rideshare companies, for example, have totally changed their pricing mechanisms in the last year or so. And pricing now varies moment to moment.

Having the actual traveler research their own fares not only gives more accurate, up-to-date information, but it also allows them to change variables to see what options might be for scenarios we don't even know exist.

Uber XL should be big enough if you have suitcases there'll be a charge of $5 for airport surcharge on top of it and approximately the fare would be near $50 or $60.
You can select the terminal you are at and cormfirm it them it will say which door to go to and it will have a photo and name of driver and car reg number.

I'm not sure about prices with lyft but if you are going with lyft just bare in mind that if you choose wait and save option it might be longer after when time is up as you'll have to wait until phone vibrates.
