uber or lyft at 4am from DL to LAX

have a 7am flight out of LAX on a Monday morning, not ideal. Wondering if would be able to get a uber/lyft that early and any experiences with this. Is 4am early enough to leave? We have no experience with LAX, and ride shares so little nervous but don't want to rent a car unless this is easier.

We have had a Lyft driver pickup us up the Grand at 3:45 a couple times to make 06:45ish flights out of LAX. Driver was on time and we had no problem getting through security and to our terminal for our flights. We made the Lyft request/reservations a full day in advance.

FYI, scheduling a ride in advance does not guarantee that a car will be there, it just auto pings the next available driver when your requested time window opens up.

I have left the GHC at 4-4:30am several times for early flights and there were plenty of cars out at that hour with Uber.

It is typically a 50 min drive no traffic. Go to Google Maps online...enter start location and destination and click on "arrive at" tab and you can play with estimated travel times and days based on historical typical travel times.

Ditto, I just used Uber to SNA from PP last month. Lyft was a little longer wait, so used Uber that time. It was at 5:30 am.
