Uber or Drive to AK

My family and I have a PPO 8:10 res at Tusker House next Thursday. We’re renting a car... need thoughts, drive or Uber to AK? We’ll be heading to MVMCP later that day, so will be heading back to POR to change mid afternoon if that helps?

Car. That early in the morning you’ll have a good parking location in the AK lot - it’s easy to get to and from the entrance.

I think AK is one of the easiest lots to park in - many spots are even close enough to easily walk to the gates if you don't want to wait on the tram. I'd just drive and save the cash on an Uber

A word of warning...when we went there in May, they were filling the lot from the back to the front for some reason. So despite our ~8:10 arrival for a 9:00 RD, we were parked like 4 rows from the back. It was about 1/3 mile from there to the park entrance. To me, that is not a long distance and we walked it, but I was surprised at how they were filling the lot that morning. It’s the only time I’ve ever experienced such a thing, but just know it does happen.

Another vote to drive. When we stayed onsite we would always drive to AK.

I say uber because I too have heard some say they're having to park from back to front. (makes no sense to me) id just pay the 5-10 and uber that's what we are doing.

we don't normally drink but I am planning to try a few things the hot coco flight looks yum. my hubs wants the free orange mango thing too at Ohana I think?

This trip I'm ubering to AK ... but that's because I plan to spend a LOT of time at the Nomad Lounge. Parking wise though, I can't recall it ever really being a problem in the lot. You walk so much in that park, what's an extra 1/3 mile ?
