Soooo, last trip we arrived late and stayed at MCO Hyatt overnight. Took GearFusion from Hyatt entrance to AKL next day, worked out great.

The evening flight worked out really well for us last trip, so we are doing it again! Difference is this time we will go straight Boardwalk Inn. Got a great bounceback deal so the price between there and MCO Hyatt for a night is negligible for us. And then this way we wake up already checked in.

This time I'm wondering if we should just Uber? If all goes well, should land by 10, so maybe getting Uber around 10:30 or so. Or would you book a car again? My worry is if flight is delayed, will it make it more complicated with a car service? Also, I'm thinking that time of night on a Tuesday, maybe Uber would be cheaper than the service which is quoting around $107 (more for late pick up). We don't request grocery stops.

Thoughts?

Car services monitor the flights that their passengers are arriving on. If you get delayed they will be there to meet you when you finally get there.

Of course this isn't an issue with Uber as there will be drivers available around the clock.

My one attempt at a ride share was late at night. And It was a mistake. All the services wanted around $100 one way, as they were in high demand. Or you had to wait a while for the price to drop. If you decide to go with rideshare just be prepared it can be costly if they are busy.
