Uber on property

im getting a lot of conflicting info re uber to magic kingdom. The front desk told us über is not allowed on property. But when I look on uber map it looks like there's car right outside portofino and a dozen cars outside universal parking area. The valet says town car from here to Disney has to charge magic kingdom parking fee so that's why it costs $60 each way. Uber gives me price of 13-22 each way which obviously doesn't include parking fee. Can anyone help me figure it out?

You can be fine using uber there. I know lots of people have used it there and I will be in Dec to go to Magic a kingdom. I have read actually the best is to go to contemporary at Disney and take the monorail.
