Uber on crowded days

Do high crowd days significantly increase the wait time for Uber? We have a group traveling from Grand Floridian to Universal the morning after Thanksgiving. Other option they are considering is Mears (I believe) but surely that would be longer due to multiple hotel stops??

No, I agree you shouldn't have an issue, however surge pricing may be in effect depending on what time you go, so you may pay more. We used it a couple years ago to go to AK from our resort, it was @ $13.00 + tip, at park closing it was @$19.00 + tip.

We also used a van service one year to go from BWV to Universal, that worked out well.

Nope. We've used it on NYE, twice as busy as day after Thanksgiving. Had no problems with a vehicle. Came as quick as any other day.

I would think you will be fine. A lot of the surge pricing at WDW happens at the end of the evening when people are tired and don't want to wait for the buses to get tired/sleepy kids quickly back to the hotel.
