I'm hoping someone here might have experience with this as I've never used either service ever. We are transferring from Disney World on site (CBR) to Universal on site (Royal Pacific). I've been looking at car services which I know we can do, but I'm struggling to decide times. I will have both my kids proper car seats from the plane. If I book (probably 2 different ubers/lyfts) will they let me install the car seat? I figured I would have to get one for me + kid 1 and then one for my husband + kid 2 because of luggage/double stroller. What have others done in this situation (we will also need to get from Universal to the Airport). We're using DME to our Disney hotel. Thanks for the help!

Are your kids in 5 point restraints or boosters?

You should be able to book maybe an uber xl and that would have room for all of you and all your stuff. There shouldn't be a problem using your car seats.

Both kids are in 5 point harnesses. Youngest will be 8 months and is rear facing, oldest is 4 years and forward facing 5pt harness. She's not big enough for a regular booster seat.

Thanks! I hadn't heard of Uber XL, I'll have to look into that.

If you request an Uber XL in the app, it will most likely have plenty of room for all of you. They "should" let you put the seats in, though YMMV as far as how patient they will be. Most drivers are already pulling away before I can even get buckled. I've started leaving my door open until I am ready to go so that they can't rush quite so much. Obviously, their time is literal money, so it's not reasonable to expect to get an abundance of it for "free", but a couple of minutes shouldn't be a big deal. If it's taking longer than expected, maybe assure them that you will make up for it with a generous tip :goodvibes
