Hi.

I use Uber/Lyft but only in small groups or a couple.

Next month, we are six adults that want to Uber/Lyft from SSR to Epcot and AK. It looks like Uber only does up to five adults can anyone let me know about Lyft, I cant find that information.

This throws a monkey wrench into my wanting to get to the parks 70-80 minutes prior to opening.

Thanks.

I'm not 100% sure about the capacity, although I did see some folks unfolding themselves from a 8 passenger SUV at Universal recently, had a Lyft or Uber sticker...
Why not just take 2 cars?

Lyft is also restricting passenger counts.

From their website:https://www.lyft.com/safety/coronavirus/rider

Is Lyft limiting the number of riders allowed in rides?

Yes — you can now have a max of three riders in Standard Lyft rides (the same goes for Lux and Lux Black). If you have four or five people in tow, you’ll need a Lyft XL or Lux Black XL.

One thing you could do is take a Mears taxi van. If there's not one waiting at your resort, they should be able to get one to you pretty quickly.
Otherwise, you could prebook transfers with Mears or any other company (DISboards Transportation Forum sponsor FL Tours, Tiffany Town Car, Ace Luxury Transportation, etc.).

Thank you for this information. I will look into it tomorrow while at work.
If I want to be dropped off at the BW, do I need a ressie somewhere for breakfast? Will the guard let us in. Could they drop us off before we turn into BW? Would it be easier to get dropped off at Swan since they dont have a guard booth?

Thank you.

Honestly, whether you need a breakfast reservation or not depends on the security guard you encounter. I'd highly recommend it.
I wasn't aware of the Swan not having a guard booth, but I think you're right about that, in which case, yes, it might be a good idea to be dropped off there instead.

I dont think there is a guard booth but now I guess I need to research that lol

One of my concerns is that we will be held waiting in line to get in at drop off at a park (Epcot or AK). Would that still be faster than a bus, Im not sure. I was at Disney in September staying at BC and walked over to YC every day to get on the first bus since they shared and sometimes didnt stop at BC. We were at AK an hour prior to opening but now it sounds like things have changed.
