Uber/Lyft from airport to hotel during Thanksgiving week

Planning on taking Uber or Lyft from airport to Pop Century on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Think there will be surge pricing? We have a group of 14, so we will be requesting three cars (separately)…all of them XL. How do you think the availability will be? We are trying to save some money here since this trip is already costing us an arm and a leg, so we would rather do Uber than schedule a private service. Thoughts from people who did this around Thanksgiving time last year?

Wow for a group of 14 I would strongly recommend booking a private charter mini-bus through Mears, this will be more cost effective than three separate XLs, I would not risk it with such a large group..

Agreed with @MrKnight that you really should book a minibus with Mears, Ace Luxury Transportation, Happy Limo, or similar.

Clearly around a holiday like Thanksgiving would be peak travel time for places like Disney. I would certainly book one of the mentioned charter services instead of hoping for one of those on-line taxis to be available and at a reasonable price.

I've seen dynamic prices of $100 and up on many occasions. Best case scenario would still be around $50 each. A charter would definitely be less then he high end prices I'd expect and probably not that much more then the lowest price. I don't think ride share would save you money
