I currently have mears connect booked but considering changing to doing an Uber... Is it easy enough ? What are the wait times usually like? Is it difficult to find your driver?

We were going to use Mears as we have a 4 year old and weren't planning on bringing a car seat... However I've just bought a bubble bum booster , so thinking maybe it'll be a lot quicker for us to just get a direct Uber to our resort rather than wait for the coach etc.

We land at 16:40 so want to get to the resort ASAP before our little one struggles too much!

Has anyone used their own car seat in an Uber before and was it ok?!

We will also be needing to depart our resort to go back to MCO about 2:30am for a 6am flight ,are they usually reliable at that sort of time in the morning?

Thank you for any advice you may have!

Rideshare pick up areas are on the end of the curb on the baggage claim level. Be outside and ready before you book the ride. Uber drivers are held in a different area until they accept a ride and you get whatever driver is next in the queue. Landing at 1640 may end up with surge pricing due to rush hour so don't take as gospel what others say the ride should cost.
I've used a BubbleBum for a 4 year old in a Lyft while at WDW, you put it on the seat and thread the seat belt through the positioner, that's it.
Uber and Lyft are generally available 24/7 in the Orlando area.

Thank you so much for your reply. I'm just looking for the quickest way to get to our resort I hadn't honestly considered ride share ! Thanks for the tip about surge pricing , I have downloaded the Lyft & Uber apps ready to go so hopefully it won't be too crazy.
