We are coming from Katella for dinner at Centrico on Wednesday and I am wondering where I get dropped off if we come by Uber and what my walking path and access point to DTD is if we walk (well my db is on a scooter).

There is a ride share drop off on Harbor Blvd and another near the Stitch lot (between the parking structure and DLH). You can find info on the webstite: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/guest-services/parking/

Guest Pickup and Drop-Off Locations

Please use either of the following locations to pick up or drop off Guests visiting Disneyland Resort theme parks or the Downtown Disney District:
  • Downtown Disney District – Take Magic Way from Disneyland Drive, then turn left at Downtown Drive and follow signs to the drop-off area. Standard parking rates will apply after the 15-minute grace period.
  • Harbor Boulevard – Enter the drop-off area from the right southbound lane of South Harbor Boulevard between South Manchester Avenue and Disney Way.
These areas may also be used for taxi and rideshare service pickup or drop-off. Please note that while brief waiting is permitted, parking or unattended vehicles are not allowed in either area.

Great thank you @LKing. Can someone let me know where I access DTD for closest access to Centrico when I am walking along Disneyland Drive.
It is six one way, half a dozen the other. Centrico is pretty much in the center of DTD. Personally, I think it might be nicer to be dropped off in the Stitch lot as you can walk through DTD. If you are dropped off on Harbor, you walk through the bus drop off area, then through the park esplanade before getting to DTD.

Thank you; I appreciate the details and suggestions.

We may also walk from Katella down Disneyland Drive (and not Uber). What is our best walking route then to Centrico? Can we walk through the GCH?

Technically, you are supposed to have a GCH key in order to get through the gate. Realistically, if you wait, someone will hold the gate open for you. Otherwise, walk to the DTD entrance by the DLH and then through DTD to Centrico.

Thank you...we'll be staying there the next morning :). I know how find my way to DTD from the Grand just not from Katella. I appreciate all your help @LKing

Maybe this map will help. If you follow the red line, it will take you to the DTD entrances. There are three security entrances (indicated by blue numbers) at that end of DTD. The teal arrow at the top is where ride share would let you off. The yellow line is if you cross the street and walk through GCH.

So...If you're setting up an Uber ride, where exactly do you tell the driver you want to go if you want to be dropped off at the teal arrow? I might try the Westin and even though it's close I don't want to walk so I might try to figure out Uber, which I've never done.

I think Disney might have moved all ride-share to the Harbor Blvd side now. I see a lot of ride-share dropping off hotel guests in front of the hotel. I don't know how they would know if you were a hotel guest, dining in a restaurant, or shopping.

Oh, that's too bad. I'm trying to avoid Harbor because the pick up area over there always seems so busy and congested.
