Uber - DeActivation Question on their end

Has anyone ever gotten this before from Uber. I do not know why at all this would happen:

Nope, plenty of other issues with the Uber app (mostly billing and driver no shows) but not that. I'd contact them and find out what's going on. There is always Lyft.
 
Cannot contact them my account has been disabled and have to wait for them to connect with me. I cannot match up my rides to see if that is problem since need to also check on app since it gets used for hone and work. But it says security so not sure if it is for credit card or something else.
 
Are you a driver or passenger? Sounds like driver.
 

If you are a driver, some passenger made a safety complaint against you. It is probably a total fabrication designed for nothing more than to get a free ride. College kids, in particular, like to pull that just because they can.

I could give you the Uber Support phone number, but they won't help you. You will have to deal with the safety team.

The safety team will not give you much information, and definitely will not tell you which ride caused the complaint, so if it's a non-specific complaint you most likely will not be able to figure out what caused it. It will take 3-4 days to a week for the safety team to resolve the "complaint," and then you'll be reinstated.
 
I am the passenger and use my seatbelt and take Uber from work and havent spilled anything or even had food or drink.

Last I used was yesterday back/forth on my own to a day spa. Today I got the deactivation.
 
The other suggestion I have is to definitely set up the Lyft rider app on your phone. That way you'll have an alternative in situations like this.

Day 3 and haven't received any information from Uber.
