Uber at Windsor Hills

Staying at WH 8/19-8/31 and while we'll have cars, some family members are wanting to rely on Uber or Lyft in case the groups split up. While I know it's not a problem at the parks, will they let Uber cars in the gate at Windsor Hills? It doesn't seem that there's a place outside the gate for cars to pick up and since we're in a house this time, I'm imagining we're quite far from the main building anyway.

Anyone done it? This is our third WH stay but haven't ever done anything other than just driving the car.

Answering my own question here for anyone who needs the info. I wrote to the WH FB page that didn't seem to be monitored and asked. This is the response I got: "You can use Uber but we have not had very good experiences with them. They are rude to the guards at Windsor Hills and refuse to coorperate (SIC) with our policies. We are a gated community. As the GM here if you can't cooperate with our rules then maybe you should reconsider dropping off guests to Windsor Hills."

When asking for further clarification on whether or not they could drive back to the houses, I got this response: "They can drive in BUT they must register, have a valid driver's license, have the correct address etc. and leave thier (SIC) attitudes at home."

So does that mean that you could call an Uber and then have them turned away at the gate or perhaps be in a situation where they won't let you inside? Anyone done this?

My friend stayed at Windsor Hills last April. They loved the space but ended up renting a car because they couldn't uber.

Do you think you could walk up to the main entrance and have them pick you up right outside the gates? We're renting a car, but we may split up at some point and being able to uber would be very helpful.

That's what I'm wondering. From what I remember, there really isn't a place to park right outside the gates nor anyplace to wait but maybe I'm remembering it wrong.
