Has anyone had any experience of them as I notice they are doing some decent flight deals to Orlando?

They are not a carrier that I have came across before....

We flew with them in April and found them very good.

The leg room is much better than you will get from most British carriers, the entertainment system was first rate and the food wasn't too bad. We didn't mind not flying direct and thought the cabin crew and check-in staff excellent.

Our only complaint was that our family weren't all seated together (although I think this mainly the fault of the travel agent).

I would certainly recommend them and would definitely use them again if the price was right.

Flew with them in July and going again in November.

Good service with no complaints. Found the few inches extra legroom a real benefit.

Changing planes is a pain but the cost differences compared to direct flights seem to be getting bigger?

I fly USAirways a lot and I think they are one of the better US carriers and a match for BA or Virgin on service and the extra leg/bum room is very welcome.

Thanks guys for the responses - the only downside that I can see flying from Glasgow is that it will be a 767 instead of an Airbus so don't think I get the same entertainment Looks like I'm gonna book US Airways then!

I'm happy to hear the positive reviews. We're flying to Las Vegas with them in Dec. and we've never flown with them before!

We have flown to Florida three times with US Airways (flying indirect from Manchester) and have found them to be excellent. Their staff at Manchester are particularly helpful, I find.

We have been fortunate enough to be upgraded to their Envoy (business) class on a couple of occasions and it is wonderful.

We would have liked to use them again next March but BMI were more competitively priced.
