Typing this while in Hojo Room :)

So figured I would post a few things before we head down to look at the fireworks. We landed On Wed afternoon, some of the highlights and lowlights Thur my DS (4) got stung on his finger while walking to the security check point, good thing we got there right as the park opened, and they let my wife and son go to first aid prior to 10:00am. After that we got Dreamed on the backside of Big Thunder, which was very cool, but the fast passes really didnt help, it was a slow day at the park, and we only got to use the fast pass on HM, Indiana jones and splash. I do think that with the Fast pass I feel rushed. Since CA closed early for MTOT we ran around to try and get things done. Goofys kitchen was this morning, and i was very sad to see the lack of char, we got goofy, chip, and baloo. That was it, food was excellent though. We did the Long beach aquairum today, and got to pet bamboo sharks and sting rays very cool stuff.... Anyways off to legoland tomorrow, might type out some more stuff then.


Oh the Hojo is good, we are in building 2, very nice staff. Rooms are nice, we got the $59 rooms, and have a microwave


P.s. Anyone rent with National and know if they preautorize your car rental for an amount? I seem ot missing money on my MC and hojo said they preautorize the stay when you chcek in, but I'm thinking National Car did $1000 or I'm in big trouble lol.

Mr. Winky, glad you are having a good time so far, except for the sting and the missing money! Yikes!

Hey, your dream FPs are good until the end of the year, even though they say "Valid only on [date]". Unofficial Disney policy is now to allow guests to use their dream FPs whenever they wish till the end of 2008, for precisely the same reason you found... some days are slow and you just don't really need them. So use the rest of them up till your trip is over!

Hope the fireworks are great! (and aren't canceled because of high winds!)

Is the card an actual credit card, or a debit? With a debit, most rental car places do put a hefty hold, but I'm sure you would have known about it already.

I never saw any holds due to HoJo's, but my bank has traditionally been really good about that ("my" bank, lol, the good bank was wamu...now who knows what Chase is going to do?).

Do you mean that the FP line rushes you through the queues? I totally agree with you on that, but I still prefer getting places faster than slower. Or do you mean something else?

Your itinerary sounds like much fun! I am sorry that your little boy was stung. I am allergic to anything and everything that can bite or sting me! Now that is scary! I am glad that he is not allergic to bee stings. I love honey, but not the sting of bee's, and how!

As for the Charges, According to the front desk they will put a hold on for the entire hotel trip is what they told me Fireworks were good, although I wanted to get better pictures (we watched them from the hojo parking lot) Today we are off to Legoland.

YES! You can use them any time! We won dream fast passes this past August and we hadn't really used them either because we didn't need them with the low crowds. I had heard on these boards you could use them any time. I asked a couple CMs and they were very wishy washy.

That was until I met Randy a super cool CM. He congratulated me on my dream fast passes and I was wearing it the day after we won it. That is when he said, "This really isn't documented, but you can use that Dream Fast Pass as long at Year of a Million Dreams is running!" and then he said, "If any one questions you, tell them you talked to Randy!" It was way cute. We used them on the busy weekends.

So, enjoy your Dream. Even if you don't use them, it is just way cool to have won something!

I haven't used National for a couple of years but at that time, they authorized out the total amount of your car rental.
