Typing/Keyboarding or kids website??

It's come to my attention that in the move my son missed keyboarding. He's in 4th grade. The old school did it in 3rd grade, the new school did it in 2nd grade. We moved after 2nd grade so he missed it at both schools. Does anyone have a site that has typing or kids? Maybe the homeschoolers can help me out? Thanks!

If you Google "Typing Tutor", there are various websites with free learn-to-type downloads.

You won't find many good typing tutors online that will progress your child gradually (introducing keys slowly) and track progress. There are a couple of good programs like that you can buy, though.

Typer Shark is a good online typing game, but I don't know how well it teaches typing. I think it's better for reinforcing.

I'm interested in hearing others' recommendations too. DS has fine motor delay, and I want to teach him keyboarding skills, so that he can concentrate on word and sentence construction instead of struggling with his handwriting (I'll still be working with him on his handwriting, I just don't want his delay to hold him back from learning other skills).

I need to learn how to touch type since Ialways cheat and look at my fingers. I'm trying the first one that came up on google http://www.senselang.com/ and it seems good so far!

Our elementary school uses the Type To Learn series from Sunburst Technologies. My dd is in 2nd grade and she likes it so much she convinced us to buy the program from Scholastic so she could practice at home. TBH, I haven't paid enough attention to it to tell you much about it. But it might be worth searching for their website to see how it describes their products.
