Typical Memorial Day Weekend

It'll be a nice high 80's kinda day, which is perfect for an early Murph and smoking some beef tenderloin.

Watching the grey skies roll in from Jersey as I type (Thanks, guys, we’ll return the favor soonest! :bored:😉)
Decided that one monkey don’t stop no show.
I’m cooking a lot of picnic food for two and if the rain never lets up for the weekend we’ll just lay a blanket on the floor, watch movies, and eat with our hands using moist towelettes as much as possible.

The feel like temp is 43 right now with rain in Indiana! I'm glad my daughter's softball game tonight got cancelled! 63 tomorrow and 69 Sunday. Memorial Day is 72. No rain, but still not warm enough to swim in our community pool that is opening tomorrow.

Just FYI, 68 is sweater/jacket weather in South Florida. Anything below 65 is big boots and ski parkas for locals..."nice" for tourists who will be loving the beaches.

I'm from Montana and stayed on South Beach during New Year's a while back. I could not get over the people wearing down jackets when it was 60 degrees out. I think the high was about 76 and we were definitely swimming in the ocean.

I have a good friend in Helena and another in Albany, NY. Every "winter" I send them emails telling them temperatures in Miami have plunged into the 60's. You wouldn't think professional people would use language like I get in their replies!

PNW decided to pull a 180 and be upper 70s/low 80s. Probably why everyone is pulling in and out of town with their RVs, kayaks, boats, campers, etc. Traffic is already a nightmare.

Supposed to hit triple digits here this weekend, so we'll likely be spending it inside. It wouldn't be terrible except this ongoing dry weather pattern has started fire season exceptionally early - like this month.

Weather for this weekend in central PA is only pleasant if your a duck.

It was nice this morning, I got my dogs walked and the younger kids got some outside time in after doing school assignments this morning...but at 330 it started pouring and it’s going to do this until Sunday night.

Daughter is having a soccer tournament tomorrow, we will see how that ends up. Older kids left for the shore this morning...I suggested multiple times to not go Memorial Day weekend, however that fell on deaf ears. Now they are out $700 for a hotel room to sit in and watch the rain come down. Grandson is having a paintball party for his birthday Sunday, I think it’s a outdoor course but the kids won’t mind it raining. I will stay inside and man the food table LOL.

Monday is supposed to clear and maybe we can head to the pool. We will see!

Same crummy weather here in Cincy. Of course last year when we couldn’t do a darn thing the weather was great.

I’m also in the Cincinnati area. Every year, it seems like the weeks heading up to Memorial Day is hot. Perfect swimming weather. However, once you get to Memorial Day weekend, the temperature plunges.

Except for last year, as you mentioned. But all of the pools were closed.

Well, it's pouring now and I'm freezing. It'll be a good weekend to do some deep cleaning, I guess.

Yup. Typical Memorial Day Weather here. 102 Sunday. 107 Monday. And not a day off for my wife and I, so just another work day, in the heat.

Just watching the Marlins @ Red Sox game from Fenway. It's about 50 degrees and raining steadily. I got cold just watching!

Another beautiful weekend here in South Orange County - Southern Cal. Sunny. Sunny. Sunny.

We watched that game too. It was almost like they held on as long as they could for the Red Sox to get the lead, then paused & later called the game.
