I realize no one has a crystal ball, but what would be a likely discount, either in the form of a general public offer, pin code, AP, etc. for the DLR hotels for late February? Just for fun I went to the DL website to put in my dates and a standard room at PP is $290, $405 for concierge:scared1: That is crazy, IMO! I can't afford that, and I think that is WAY overpriced for PP, even for concierge! We stayed PP concierge in November 2007 and it was $169 as an AP rate! Yes, that was a few years ago and a different time of year, but yikes, that's a pretty steep jump!

Are general public offers typically made for that time of year? HOw about AP? I'm not sure if I will do the AP or not, but if the discount is decent, it's worth considering. I was hoping to stay around $125/night, which I know means offsite, but I would so love to stay at the DLH for my actual birthday, if I got a decent enough rate, I was thinking of doing 3 nights off/1-2nights onsite.

Probably won't know what the promotional rates will be until during the Holidays. As long as you aren't going over the three day weekend in February it's likely to have a deal, it's offseason.

All I can reacall of the top of my head is there was a everyone pays the kids price on tickets. That may of been a few years ago.

We are looking at Tuesday 2/21 through Saturday 2/25. My birthday (the big 4-0!) is 2/24, so I was even considering staying the first 3 nights offsite and then moving to the DLH on Friday for my birthday. This would serve a dual purpose; getting to be at the DLH for my birthday night and then having magic morning privilege for Saturday, as we will use the one MM that comes with our hopper tickets on Thursday, and an extra hour in the park would be great because we will only be able to be there until about 11 because of the flight home. My last morning tradition is to have breakfast at Riverbelle Terrace, sitting outside and taking in the beauty of the Rivers of America and surrounding areas, knowing I have to soak it all in until next time! If we could go and do a couple Fantasyland favorites first, then have breakfast, that would be great!

I will keep my fingers crossed for a decent rate!
