Hi everyone! We've only cruised December and jan and been lucky weather wise each time. Anyone know what we should expect early march?
Thank you!

Water was chilly last year but air temps were great. Then again, who in the world can say, this crazy year?! If you mean this coming March. This has been a horrible winter and I'm glad I'm cruising in May. It really varies by year and you will be hopefully past the worst of the cold and stormy weather...

Last year we were on the Dream the first week of March. It was around 80 degrees every day and beautiful sunshine. The water was too cold for us to swim when we were at Castaway Cay, others were swimming though. Sitting around the pool on the ship was perfect. We took another cruise the end of August and the water was great. It was very humid but we loved it and swam, rented jet skis, played on the slides, and had a great time at Castaway and on the ship.

We were on the Dream March 10, 2013 and it was extremely windy the entire trip, the water was too cold to enjoy and because of the strong winds they cancelled our parasailing and snorkeling excursions. But did not bother us any since we enjoyed the Cabana and the sun at CC.:beach:

What cabana did you choose? Did you love having it? We are trying to decide if we should book one for next year and which number. I don't imagine the water would have been colder than Jan and we were still in there. We're from canada so cold water swimming is what we know!
Thanks

Interested as well! We were at CC just a couple weeks ago and the water and air were perfect. Not a cloud in the sky, water felt great. :)

Going back next March so I hope we enjoy the same fortune!

We had stunning ambiebnt weather in 2013 but oooo weeee was the water chilly! But Disney was gorgeous the first week, the cruise was perfect on the islands, last sea day coming back we came into rain and when we got to EP, it was a whopping 45-50 degrees during the day which we were not prepared for. (From 82 the week before.) We literally ran the entire day to stay warm but we hopped 4 parks (EP we went to twice) and we had a blast. The weather can go either way on the gulf coast/ FL, but all of our early March cruises, the cruise weather was good. (In other words, PC/NOLA/Galveston could be 40s/50s and ugly or 80 and perfect. Also don't forget that a lot of travel was horribly impacted by the ice all over and Feb/Mar had plenty of it, so be sure and allow at least a day or more for travel to get to your cruise..)

We were on the same Magic cruise earlier this month. :) I am curious how the water temp just then compared to last March when you were at CC. Thanks!

We were on the Dream cruise that left March 13. It was warm enough to get a sunburn but the water was chilly. I did the Aquaduck once but it was too cold and I swam a couple hours at CC. DH didn't get in the water. It was cold at first but you get used to it once you're wet. I'm Canadian for reference and DH is not...lol

This years water temp was surprisingly REALLY nice compared to late Feb/Early March last year. That was SHOCKING. However, we also went on Disney Dream in Mid April last year too, and we still had to count 1-2-3 GO to get in at Castaway Cay. I was expecting it to be similar to Mid April in early May especially with the cold weather this year, but I think it had been really warm before we got there, and I was really pleasantly surprised.

I would cruise early May again in a minute. (I am not sure about WDW then though...)

I would easily cruise the last week of Feb, Mar, Apr, May all of those are great times. I don't cruise after June 1 (I would make an exception for Alaska, no hurricane probs there).
