What do you take into TL? I heard they have towels and food to buy there. What else do you take to make your day easy and fun?

TIA

about all we take is our bods and a bathing suit. Let Disney provide what we miss. Seriously, take the usuals, sun tan lotion, towel and thats it. No camera, need nothing to worry about and what we don't need why take and put in a locker and not use. We're going to be in the water and enjoy the rides, not looking back at our stuff so if they want my towel and flip flops, let them, I'm having fun and by the time you're ready for the bus back, you can dry in the Florida sun and we rarely take a change of clothes, just some shorts and tank top over our suits and away we go. No fuss no muss, makes life easy.

We bring a water proof disposable camera with a wrist band. Lots of fun on the lazy river and for the slides and wave pool.

Good ideas. Thank you both. Do you need to wear water shoes or anything? Or is barefoot safe (eg: no stickers, rocks, etc) and acceptable? DH has an expensive camera w/underwater housing but I gotta say disposable sounds so much better for this. If someone steals it, oh well. I will buy one or two to take and then follow your advice and bring nearly nothing. Oh, btw, how safe are the zippy plastic pockets in swimsuits for park passes and money? Or do we need to buy a truly waterproof pelican case for them?

Again tks.

I wouldn't dream of NOT wearing watershoes. The pavement/paths/whatever are HOT and some of the other areas are slippery. Besides that, I'm a little icked out by going barefoot, especially if I need to go to the bathroom or something.

We did the disposable waterproof camera and it worked really well. It kept us from having to worry about it, and it was easy to just slip around our wrists. We did rent a locker to keep our clothes, towels, sunscreen, money, tickets, etc. in. We never "lighted" so we didn't have a chair or anything to keep our stuff at. We definitely found the locker to be the way to go. We stopped at it when we got there, came back for a sunscreen recharge, and then picked up our stuff. It's not like we were in and out of it all day.

Ok, I just went in the garage and pulled out our dive booties for watershoes. Now, I'm wondering if my crocs would be better or worse. Dive booties have tread and padding on bottom and are neoprene and go up to the ankle. My crocs are "beach" model w/straps and they'd have more support for walking. Is there much walking at TL?

On the goggles, I probably should do that too becw of my contact lenses.

You guys rock! Thanks.

You may use crocs for walking around but I don't know that you would be able to wear them down a slide (being that they are hard palstic).

Ah. Good point. So people must just spend the day in watershoes. I can do that.
