Typhoon Lagoon vs. Blizzard Beach

Ok, which is the best water park in Disney? Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach? Also, what was the best part of each park? Thanks in Advance!

That's a tough one, but I voted for Blizzard Beach. We did thoroughly enjoy Typhoon Lagoon though. Our family just felt that there was more at BB that we all enjoyed. BB's family raft ride was better than TL's. The slides at BB were fun too! We did love how TL was more shaded and had a nice tropical feel to it. The wave pool at TL is really a lot of fun too.

In my opinion, they are both great parks and we can't wait to go back and have fun at both of them this summer!

Well, most of the time if you ask the kids they will say that Blizzard Beach is the best water park in WDW, however I am sure that will change when the Slusher Gusher opens...

Most parents, however enjoy Typhoon Lagoon better, and I don't think that will change any.

At this time, I would have to say Blizzard Beach. I like the way it is set up better than Typhoon Lagoon. I also have to agree with llig that the raft ride is better at Blizzard Beach.

I am hoping to go to Typhoon Lagoon in November to try out the new water coaster, so my opinion might change come November.

Typhoon Lagoon. I'm so happy that I'm finally going when it is open this year (last two trips were during its rehab)! I think the tropical theming is so relaxing, and I love the wave pool.

We loved the wave pool at TL and loved the whole island feel to it.

But we liked the slides much better at blizzard beach. Except for Summit Plumet.

i personally love typhoon lagoon, it has a more laid back vibe tropical with long lazy river. what im looking for on a day in the water, relaxed but fun. i love there wave pool, the beachy area, the group water slides and the snorkel reef with coral & fish. me & fi also tried the surfing class last trip in the morning, great fun.

blizzard beach has the better, faster funnel slides though.

DS12.5 wants us to go to Typhoon Lagoon - we like the lazy river & wave pool
Neither of us is into the big slides

I like both water parks, but lately we've been going more to BB - I like the kiddie area better at BB and that is usually where we spend most of our time.
