Typhoon Lagoon vs. Blizzard Beach

I could use some advice from people who've been to both of Disney's waterparks. I've visited Typhoon Lagoon numerous times, and brought my son there when he was 3. He's close to 6 years old now, and my daughter is a shade over 2. I love TL, but I've heard others say that they thought BB was the better of the two parks, especially for younger kids. I have a vacation scheduled for next month and need some opinions on which waterpark to visit.

So, which is it-BB or TL?

We haven't been to Typhoon Lagoon ourselves but friends said that Blizzard Beach is in much better condition and cleaner than TL. Your son would love the Ski Patrol Training Camp and your daughter would be ok at Tykes Peak. Ski Patrol has ice bergs that you navigate across and some mid sized slides and a tow rope looking thing that you swing out across the water and then drop in. My DD8 and DS6 loved it when we were there in June.

We have been to both water parks numerous times. We love the themeing for TL. But i have to say for children BB has a much better play area. TL's kiddie area is geared towards much smaller children where BB has things for older kids also. My DD (10) loves BB kids area.

We go to both and enjoy both. The lazy river at BB is larger than TL. The kiddie area at BB is a bit larger than TL. Does your kids love wave pools? If so, TL is best. It really depends on the kids.

I say take them to BB and see what you think.

I would say BB. It rocks, no I lied, it snows!!! LOL. It's so, so much fun!!!
