Can we walk from Typhoon Lagoon to DTD? or is there Disney transport....or do we have to get the bus from TL back to resort then to DTD

From memory that is not possible as there is no pavement to use.

Sometimes the bus will serve both downtown disney and typhoon lagoon from the resorts so may be possible to catch the bus.

You cannot walk it that would be suicide. You should be able to get on a bus as they share this route at least sometimes but your other choice is to bus to Saratoga Springs and walk. Not sure if current construction work at DTD affects that plan.

it does,

with the current construction going on, after 2PM buses will only go from Typhoon Lagoon to EPCOT, and guests will have to catch hotel buses at EPCOT. (began june 10.)


attempting to cross Buena Vista Dr to DTD is suicidal, no sidewalk and that road is really busy.
And they're currently turning it into a 8 lanes road (4 in each direction)

Just thinking seems a shame to go back to resort when you are so near.

That sounds like a good option although we will be at AoA so not too far away.

as previously stated, you'd need to do that well before 2pm

after 2pm you won't be able to catch a bus to OKW (or to any hotel)

if you want to go to DTD from TL after 2PM you'll need to do

TL->EPCOT->RESORT->DTD

so make sure you get out of Dodge when buses still run to hotels.
IDK how guests manage at this time, but there will probably be lots of guests trying to catch the last bus so they might line up quite early (1pmish) to make sure they catch their bus (hope someone with firsthand account can tell about the current situation)
