Anyone know where/how to purchase tix for Typhoon Lagoon?? I really wanted to purchase them in advance. We will be spending one day there. I've also been hearing about Aquatica....Any opinions about which park is better?? My kids are 7 and 11.:cheer2:

Aquatica looks nice but we haven't been there yet, so no recommendation on that from me.

Check pricing for Typhoon Lagoon through ticketmania.com. We've purchased authorized, discounted tickets for the water parks through them and had good experiences. They are quick to mail your tickets right out to you (or you can pick them up in Kissimmee, or pay for a delivery to your hotel).

I think that I saw water park tickets at mapleleaftickets.com, too.

Undercover Tourist, Maple Leaf Tickets, and Ticketmania all sell them.

Are you getting regular theme park tickets for WDW though? You can just add on water park admissions to a multi-day ticket; plus, you'll actually get multiple admissions, making it a better value than a single ticket for the water park.

Undercover Tourist. I've used them twice and have no complaints!

I also agree about just paying the $50+ add on ticket. We had 5 day park tickets and added 5 Water Park Plus tickets; that meant each water park and disney quest ticket only cost $10!

hi,

we're just back from 24 days of vacation in Orlando.
My kids are huge water park lovers, so we did them all.....

I advice you to go to aquatica , this is by far the biggest park, the slides are really good, large beach and pool wave, a current river ( really fast and funny , it going all the way around the park), big kiddie water park, lots of fun for a full day...

for thrill seekers wet and wild is cool, lots of very cool slides, but it's along the road with no theming.

Both disney water parks have gorgeous theming, great for relaxing as well....
Less slides than aquatica and no current rivers but really slow lazy rivers
Blizzard beach was by far our favourite of the two, we were dissapointed by typhoon lagoon, ( they have a cool wave pool , but the slides were limited in our opinion, crush and gusher last 20 seconds for more than 45 minutes queing, not that worth it)

Aquatica was very crowded the day we visited ( early august), so we spent most of our time in the current river , and kids places, we all had a blast:thumbsup2

oh in favour of typhoon lagoon, they have the free snorkeling with sharks and the paying option ( 20$) of spending 20 minutes scuba diving ( even for non certified divers) with sharks as well
the water is freezing cold but refreshing :-)
We did both and had a good time :-)
