Typhoon Lagoon Potential Hours for August Moonlight Magic

I'm trying to figure out if the Typhoon Lagoon Moonlight Magic dates are doable for us (presuming we can get in) with young kids who go to bed early. Of course, they can stay up a little late one night but no way they could do a post-midnight event. We love the AK events because we can get in at 4 and out by 10 and feel like it was well worth it. What time does mix-in usually start for Typhoon Lagoon? What time does it usually wrap up? I know it could change for this year, but I'd love to hear any timelines from previous years to figure out if it's worth it for us to try to schedule a potential trip to coincide. Thank you!

As the dates get closer you can check online for park hours.

Currently dates only go out to May 9th and show the Typhoon Lagoon closing at 5pm. In August it may stay open later.

MM admission often starts ~2-3 hours prior to park closing time.

This was from the email for Moonlight Magic last August, I would expect something fairly similar or exactly identical. Event ran until Midnight.

Checking in: While the event officially begins at 8 p.m., you may check in as early as 6 p.m. at the Main Entrance of Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park (look for event signage). If you’re enjoying the water park before our after-hours party begins, this requires a separate paid water park admission (unless you’re utilizing the complimentary water park admission on your Walt Disney World Resort check-in day). Those who plan to enjoy Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park before the after-hours party begins may find the in-park check-in location at Singapore Sal's from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
