Typhoon Lagoon or Wet n Wild?

We'll be doing a water park on Thurs, June 16 and I was wondering if anyone has been to both of these and can compare them for me. Which has more rides and anything else you can think of. My DS's who are 7 and 9 looked up both on the net and Wet and Wild does a better job of listing all the rides which is why I think they want to go to there. I'm leaning more towards TL but I want them to enjoy themselves and not spend the day comparing everything to Wet and Wild. Any info would be appreciated.

Most definately Typoon Lagoon. Awesome Wavepool Slides and just a fun place to be lots of shade if you so choose. Enjoy

TL is 100 times better, cooler and more fun than WnW.

TL offers, SHADE, Swimming with Sharks, Wave Pool, Gushers, Turkey Legs, Bar and all that Disney Magic.

WnW has no shade and none of the other 'Magic" TL has.

Typhoon Lagoon hands down! I have driven by WET N WILD and I never understood WHY people go there? It is literally on the corner of International and some other street, out in the open.......just kinda like it was an afterthought...oh yeah here is some open space lets plop some slides down......TL has the Disney theming that we have all come to love!

No question here, definitely Typhoon Lagoon. We have been to WNW 2 times, it is dirty, out on the middle of a highway, you sure don't feel as you are on vacation there. We have been to TL 4 times, it is paradise, even if you don't do the the slides etc. You can get lost in the tropical paradise Disney has created!!! They have an awesome wave pool, my DD9, DS10 feel they have the best slides, they also just built a new attraction!! The best thing there is the shark pool, you can actually snorkel with the sharks, and fish, and it is included in your admission, so please don't miss this park!! It is great. ::Micke
