Typhoon lagoon or Blizzard beach???

14 days to go. We just decided to add a water park. What one would you do? DH and I have been to typhoon lagoon on our honeymoon(11 yrs ago) Kids have not been to a water park. Ages are 9 (good swimmer), 8 (likes the shallow end of the pool doggy paddle swimmer) and 6 ( just starting to doggy paddle swimmer). Where would they have more fun? Opinions needed thanks!

Cartoon kid-like theme that is fun ! Lazy river and the Family Raft Ride are great fun ! Wave pool has waves but doesn't have the power of TL, so younger kids will enjoy. Ski Patrol Training area is PERFECT for their age and they will love hanging out in there. Good place for you to get lounges as home base. And you have a wide variety of slides that they might find a few of them fun and not too overwhelming.

Yeah i'd go for BB also. Hope you are in good shape though because there are alot of stairs to climb. There is a chair lift but it gets to be quicker just climbing because the lines arre really long to get on the chair lift.

I love the lazy river, relaxing and refreshing.

Typhoon has the new slide though.....that could be more interesting.

always like BB more myself, you have the family raft ride, the mat racers you can do as a group, I just wish the pool did the strong waves that typhoon does. Love the lazy river

I guess we're the odd man out. We love TL. I have 2 DD's ages 9 &4 and they love TL. We also like BB but it just wasn't the same. We kind of liked the island feel that TL has.

I'd go BB you have the Jersey shore right there... most people love the TL wave pool.... you have your very own wave pool to get wiped out by 10 miles away.....theme of BB is cute

My DH, DS (almost 6) and I were at both BB and TL last week. We all preferred BB over TL. My DS is a beginner swimmer and he had a lot more fun at BB. The area for children at TL was geared for toddlers. BB was geared more for his age group. My husband preferred the slides and raft rides at BB too. The one ride my DH enjoyed at TL was Crush Gusher.

GrumpyBA....we have our own wave pool about 4 miles away!!! Thats about the closest beach to us...LOL

It looks like BB is the winner. I was not sure if one had more to do then the other for less experienced swimmers(my kids)
