We are going to DW in Oct. I've been there in Nov and people were still going to the water parks so I'm assuming we'll still be able to visit them in Oct. Anyone know if that's true?

We have two kids (DS7 and DD5). We visited BB last time and I wondered if we should do TL this time or stick with BB?

One more question: we still have our passes from last time with their pluses. I believe they never expire. However, can we still use them to get into the water parks with the new ticket changes?

Thanks.

You should check out the website. A lot of the appeal depends on whether you want to be in snow or the tropics. There is a great kids area at Blizzard Beach, especially kids your's age.

It depends on your kids adventure level. There will be nothing to compare to the ski patrol area at TL, the kiddie area at TL is really for the toddler set, the wave pool is very powerful and a highlight there is shark reef. You still have the lazy river and a couple small slides that dump into wave pool, but other than that they will just have to go on the big slides. Now if that is okay with them, maybe you want to try it.

But if it were me and my kids at that age, I would go back to BB, I just think they will have lots of fun again, but it depends on what they enjoy doing most....

Out of the two I prefer BB, it seemed to have much more for us to do as a family, eg family raft ride and toboggan runs. All I remember about TL is an extremely strong wave pool that caused two of us to get badly scrapped feet, a family raft ride which was really short, a fun river ride on floats and an extremely cold snorkel pool. TL does look extremely pretty though.

I think we'll go back to BB and wait on TL. It's the shark viewing that interested me and I can wait until the kids are older to indulge myself. :p

Anyone know if the unused pluses on our old PHPs will still work to get us into the water parks?

Anyone done the water parks in Oct?

Not done BB in October but tackled it and TL in February which might be a similar temperature. Felt a bit cold waiting for slides and the waterfalls in the rubber ring river was absolutely freezing but totally bearable.
