I'm trying to decide whether to go to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach for my trip beginning on the 28th. Which one do yall think is better? Thanks, Ash

We love Typhoon Lagoon but have never been to Blizzard Beach. I really like the wave pool and the atmosphere of that place. I just can't quite get into the snow at the beach thing. But that's just me. i live in an area where it snows and I think it's because snow is COLD, not what I want to be at the beach.

I'm sure both places are great fun, though!

both are awesome!!! If time allows, you should do both of them. If you have to choose one or the other: I personally would pick BB. The slides are a little more daring, which fits me better...basically, the slides are a little more tame at TL than at BB. TL has a more tropical feel to it...BB can get very hot on the feet(lots of concrete)....both have nice wave pools and kids areas...do both if you can...

:D

I like Blizzard Beach more. There's more to do and the theming is cool, too. Don't get me wrong, Typhoon Lagoon is a great park, too, but I will always choose BB over TL.

I'd go with BB. It has such great themeing and Summit Plummit is such a rush.

well we have a 6 day park hopper plus so we may be able to check out both but it might be hard. i think i'm starting to lean more towards bb. how is the shark reef at typhoon lagoon though that sounded really neat.

I'm not sure, but Typhoon Lagoon may be closed for refurbishment while you are there. Of course, that makes your decision easier!

Another vote for Blizzard Beach!! Have fun and if you decide to go, check out the family ride.

actually typhoon lagoon opens back up our first full day there the 29th.
