We are headed to the parks at the beginning of October and I was wondering which water park we should do. We have 2 boys that are 6 and 2 and I'm not sure which park would fit best for us.

Blizzard Beach. I think it has better kid areas. You can't do wrong with either.

1st off ..:welcome:to the disboards.

2ndly, this question come up a lot. But for your boys ages ,I would definitely recommend BB. They have a separate section that has 3 small side by side slides, they also have a nice tube ride (not steep, or fast) and also a regular slide. Alng with this they have a zero entry water play area.

Also as family you can go on the family tube ride which is a great time too.

Have fun and enjoy....DizDad

We are trying to decide as well between the two areas. I have two 4 year old boys who are not swimmers yet and was looking at the family tube ride. Is it ok for young children in a life vest with very little swimming skills?

I have found BB to be better for younger children BUT we have little ones and we prefer TL. They do have several little kids slides and even a little kids inlit pool off of the huge wave pool with a slide and just behind that in another section there is four more child slides and a splash zone type playground area. I love TL and would pick that over BB every time but everyone has their own likings. I think we just prefer the tropical feel all around also :)
